One of my goals this year was to cook 50 new recipes using the Oh She Glows Every Day cookbook. The recipes are SO delicious and fun to make, that I ended up changing my goal to 75 recipes… and then to 100 recipes.
Making new things every week has helped me become a much more confident and comfortable cook. I’ve also dramatically broadened the range of meals I know how to make, and no longer feel panicked when invited to a potluck. I guess it’s true when they say practicing doesn’t need to ‘make perfect,’ but it inevitably makes progress!
I love Oh She Glows Every Day because a) she makes easy-to-follow delicious recipes, b) it’s plant-based food that makes me feel great, and c) she is also a Canadian maritimer! (*Note: Many of the recipes require a high-speed blender and/or food processor. You may also need to stock up on some new ingredients, but once you have them, you’ll be all set so you can keep working your way through the book!)
